The assistant can then analyze live board data, search semantically across cards, research the web and prepare safe board changes for human approval.

Yes. The free plan includes one board and up to five members. A team can use the core board and collaboration workflow before deciding whether it needs a paid plan.

Does Zorano have an AI project management assistant?
Yes. Zorano AI Assistant is currently a limited beta feature for selected boards and users. It can use Board Brain context, learned Style DNA, semantic card indexing and board intelligence to analyze project data, research the web, find related work and prepare board actions for Owner/Admin approval.
Can Zorano AI change a board automatically?
AI actions are approval-based in the beta. Zorano AI can prepare actions such as creating cards, assigning work, moving cards, setting due dates or archiving work, but an authorized Owner/Admin must approve the proposal before the board is changed. Destructive board deletion and payment mutations are not autonomous AI actions.
Can Zorano track freelancer or contractor payments?
Yes. The optional Work & Payments module can track compensation per word, per hour, per task, per unit or by fixed project. Owners/Admins manage private rates and payout records; members can see only their own payment information. The module is recordkeeping, not payroll, tax or banking software.
Does Zorano support Kanban project management?
Yes. Zorano is board-first: work is organized into columns and cards that can move through custom stages. Cards support assignees, due dates, priorities, labels, comments, attachments, checklists, activity and other collaboration details.
What roles and permissions does Zorano support?
